The Working Family

The working family is a busy family. We know this and our job, and the purpose of this site, is to make your job just that little bit easier.

You can think of Theworkingfamily.org as your monthly planner, daily schedule, and time management consultant, all wrapped up in one.

Our team understand how hard it is to keep everything balanced when you’re a member of a busy household and still want to maintain a career and active social life. And why shouldn’t you have it all?

Our Story at the Working Family

As much as we love our families, it’s not always easy, is it? There’s meals to be made, a house and garden to clean and maintain, and a job that pays for it all. But your main concern is your family.

At Theworkingfamily.org we’ve gathered together every piece of information we could find, through our own experiences and by talking to the experts, and we’ve put it all on one site.

You don’t have to go from one site to another anymore trying to find information and guidance on any of the common issues that members of a working family face.

It’s all right here:

  • Organizational tips
  • Money saving tips
  • Achieving work/life balance
  • Healthy meal planning
  • After school activities
  • Time management
  • Self-care

Here’s a Closer Look at What You’ll Find on Theworkingfamily.org.

We’ve got a whole section dedicated to Schedules where we tell you about the best scheduling apps and calendars and how to make those tools work for you. Under our Time Management section, you’ll find information about food and grocery delivery services.

Our Family section features a discussion about how double-income households commonly work and we’ve got a ton of suggestions on fun activities under Family Time. The Activities page focuses on things for the kids like sports and music lessons.

After reading all those pages you’ll need some help with Organization, so head over there to read about how to de-clutter and allocate chores, and other helpful tips. Following that, our Meal Planning page will give you some fabulous ideas for make-ahead meals and how to get the best out of your crockpot or pressure cooker.

The working family may revolve around the kids, but its foundation is always the parents. That’s why we’ve included a section on the topic of Self-care. If you’re not performing at your best, either at home or at work, well…we all know how that turns out.

The Tips for Parents part of our site will help you leave your work at work and improve your communication at home with other family members. And we’ve added some money saving tips in there too because who doesn’t need those?

Our Promise to You

We’re here to help. Our advice and information has been tried and tested so we know it’s valuable and we know it will make a huge difference to you and your working family’s life.
